SUPPLEMENT: GREEK INSCRIPTIONS.

From Larnaca. Letters about ]/2 inch high, painted on a bottle figured in Vol. II, Plate
CXLIII, No. 1066. See Cesnola, Cyprus, No. 43 of Greek inscriptions. Proper name:

" Eros".

(The inscriptions on the hydria figured in Vol. II, Plate CXLVIII, No. 1096, and on the
alabastron, Plate CXLIX, Nos. 1103, H04, are sufficiently treated at those places, respectively.)

From Larnaca. Letters about ]/2 inch high, painted on a bottle figured in Vol. II, Plate
CXLIII, No. 1067. See also Cesnola's Cyprus, No. 42 of Greek inscriptions. Proper name:

"Citias."

Stamp in the centre of a dish of red ware, but reversed. Letters l/s inch high. Probably
the maker's mark or name:

" Arsas."

From Citium. Incised on the bottom of a black pottery Greek cylix, with handles. The
numerals denote, probably,

"50 drachmas, 30 oboli.'

Latin. On the inside of a dish of red ware. Maker's mark or name:

"Of Villus."
