‘ Multa habentur in hac editione antichristiana * (says De Rossi) quse
mundi nationes sibi sacros libros descripturas fore eosque immutaturas
11*0^1 in malum et in hceresim. Desunt hsec verba tum hic, tum
paullo post, ubi paucis interjectis repetuntur, sed adsunt in mss.
codicibus, et in editione altera antiquiore et pi'imai’ia sine anno et loco.'
Annales Hebraeo-Typographici, pt. i. p. 61-2, edit. 1795. The sarne
bibliographer notices another capy besides his own, which former was
imperfect towards the end. The present copy, which came from the
Crevenna Collection, is stained in the margins, but the text is sound
and perfect. Bibl. Crevenn.vol. i. n°. 1279. It may be treasured among
the x’arities of this Collection, and is bound in russia leather.*
738. Nider (Iohannes). Manuale Confessorum.
Printed hy Conrad Homhorch. Without Place,
or Pate. Quarto
The Noble Owner of this copy may be congratulated not only upon
the possession of an edition of the above woi’k, which was unknown to
Panzei’, but upon such edition presenting him with a specimen of a
Printek, whose name has wholly escapedthe researches of tlxat diligent
and extraordinary bibliographer. Not finding Conrad de Homborch
in either of the lists of printers, by Panzer, it was not surprising to
observe the omission of it in the comparatively superficial work of La
Serna Santander. The present elegant little volume bears every rnark
* As far as I can discover, tliis work is not introduced into the Bibliotheca Judaica
Antichristiana of De Rossi, published iu 1800, 8vo.
