Signature : monogram below the date Sfalus] 1513, on a tablet in left lower corner.
Date: 1513.
Watermarks : according to Hausmann this engraving is found on the same paper as
B.60 and B.74, presumably * high crown ’ paper, but he has not actually found the
watermark. The ‘ jug ’ (Ha.10) is found on later impressions.
Drawings: the Knight is based on the coloured drawing of 1498 (L.461) in the
Albertina. The drawing for the Knight in the engraving (with the dog) in the
