On three sides, above the level of the tablet, there is an interval between border-line
and plate-mark.
Signature : monogram (D reversed) on background over the Elector’s right shoulder.
Date: 1524.
Watermark: ‘ jug ’ (Ha.10). Hausmann mentions a late impression at Munich on
Dutch foolscap paper.
There are late impressions (17th cent. ?) on satin at Berlin and London.
Drawing : silver-point, in reverse, in Valton collection, Paris (L.347).
