case ol such primitive worship as that of the Shades of the Departed,1 and again
that of the Nymphs, a triple libation was frequently offered. The /AeA.iKpijra, indeed,
which, followed in turn by sweet wine and water, made up these offerings, would
have been specially appropriate in the Cave Sanctuary where, according to the legend,
