Siliguri,

According to a report
received from a village
under Thakurganj P. S
of Purnea district and
situated on the border of
this Sub-Division—a dacoit
party raided the house of
a Jotdar Sri Karak Sinha
and relieved him of about
Us. 14000/- including cash
and ornaments bv severely
injuring him on the head.
It is reported that the
party was armed with
lethal weapons. Tho place
of the incident is very
near to Khoribari P. S.
of Siliguri sub-Division
and is 28 miles away

One motor trolley of
District Engimer's depart-
ment of N E. Rly, Siliguri
caught fire on Nov. 25
evening* while being kept
in a van in the North
Station yard. . he trolley-
driver who was within,
the van was severely
burnt. The fire of the.
van was entinguished by
the.railway employees who
were in good number at
the station as the arrival
time of all up and down
trains were approaching

Acid bulb was thrown
on the body of a teacher

acid bulb was thrown on
the back side of the tea
cher injur'ng his back
portion in several places.
The teacher, it is reported,
could not identify the
miscreant. This ,is the
first case at Siliguri when
acid bulb was used Police
inv- stigation is proceeding,
to find out the culprit or
culprits.

guri.P.S a party of 10/12
persons armedwith lethal
weapons attacked the
house of a peasant at
dead of night on -Nov.
2D and relieved hint of
about Rs 211/- by injuring
his fight hand severely.

home were also beaten.
Police has been informed
