progress has been made in the field of education
in West Bengal since Independence.

Sawing and Carriage are
invited by the Manager,
Govt. (Jioehona Planta-
tion, Latpanohor, Kur-
seong P. O., District Dar-
jeeling, on behalf of.the
Governor of West Bengal
for sawing of sawing tim-
ber including carriage
charges within Govt.
Cinchoua Plantation, Lat-
panohor and Sittong Di
vision area for a period
1-9-1962 to 31 8-1963

The sawing rate per
oft. inoluding oarriage
oharges in respect of
planks (H",l*,r thick-
ness), battens and beams
should be quoted separa-
tely.

An earnest money of Re.
100.00 (Rupee* one hund-
red) only in oash must
acoompany the tender.

The approved ten-
derer will have to exe-
cute a contraot in pro-
per from and deposit
Seourity Money of Rv
300.00, in the Treasury
Challau within fifteen
days after, acceptance of
the tender. If the ten.
dsror, whoso tender has
been aocepted, . fails to
comply with the fore-
going conditions, the Ear-
nest Money is liable to
b» forfeited to Govern-
ment. The Seourity Mo-
ney deposited by a con-
tractor is liable to be
forfeited, wholly or par-
tially, if Government suf-

fers any loss due to neg
ligenoe or act of omission
or commission on the
part of the contractor,
his employees in connec-
tion with work.

The contractor will
have to bear full res-
ponsibility of the labourers
that will be employed by
him and that he shall
be responsible for any
accident occuring to them
during execution of the
work.

chor on or before the
16th August, 1962, within
office hours (8 A. M. to
3-30 P. M ).
