CHINESE THREAT

The Chinese hare
eiosied to tb» south of
MeMahon Line and have
violated Indian territory.
It it well known tbat
despite sustained and
systematic Chinese pro-
vocation and encroach-
ment in Ladakh area,
India was willing to hold
preliminary talkB to re-
duce tensions and to
oreate an appropriate cli-
mate for negotiations over
this boundary dispute.
But the Chinese Govt,
wrecked all chances of
talks by committing freth
aggressions into SEFA &
Ladakh and by persisting
in the intrusion which hag
already precipitated the
biggest clash so far bet-
ween the armies of the
two countries. The Chi-
nese have launched large-
soale attack both id NEKA
& Ladakh areas.

We endorse President
Radhakrish nan's appeal to
the nation to stand uni-
ted iu the face of growing
Chinese menace. W* ap-
peal to the people of the
birder area to remain
vigilant and strengthen
the hands of Sri Mehru

in this hour of National
emergency. Our brave
Jawans guarding the bor-
der should also be com-
plimented for splended
work they are doing to
protect the integrity of
oar motherland.
