MS. signatures at the end of each quire. Contemporary binding of red pigskin on wooden
boards with bosses and clasps, the upper cover stamped with the name Paulus
Hug, inside a c o a t o f a r m s b u r n t i n. P. Hug, probably a kinsman of Joh. Hug,
Fyner’s mysterious associate at Esslingen. Armorial ex libris as here used are very rare.

Presse des Stuchs „zu den bedeutendsten der alten Reichsstadt“.
Rubriziert, Initialen abwechselnd, rot u. blau eingexnalt. Sehr sauber u. breitrandig,
nur gegen Schluß 4—5 Wurmstiche.

A nice impression by G. Stuchs, one öf the foremost printers of Nuremberg, who
specialized in liturgical works.

Fine large copy. A few wormholes at the end, first (blank) leaf missing, in its
original Gothic binding (somewhat damaged).
