large C715/16 : 65/ie inches) and unusually white and good copy.
Concerning the leaf of „Errata" cf. Sondheim in Philobiblon VI, 1, p. 17 f f :
„Harvey has seen copies (of his book) very long time after the publishing date
and he sent to Fitzer a list of 126 corrections which were published on a special
leaf. But most of copies were sent out at this date and one could bind the leaf
of Errata only in the last few copies not yet sold. Geoffr. Keynes, the bibliogra-
pher of Harvey, knows only 3 copies with the Errata-leaf".
Bibliotheca Osleriana 692: „Good copies of the ’De motu cordis’ do not exist.
The paper is thin and ’foxed’ and no book of the same importance has suffered
so cruelly from the binder. I have not seen a presentation copy. The number
printed must have been small."
This copy is nearly not „foxed". The last page bears a little stamp of a
library.
