sign tbou wilt conquer"). Beneatk it are tbe tents of tbe arm^, and tbe soldiers
burning to tell of tbs marvellous sigbt. Burtber back llows tbe Biber, and we
distinguisb several well-known monuments on its banks. Bbs deformed dwarf
on tbe rigbt in tbe foreground, was added b^ Oiuiio Bomano, at tbe request of
Idippol^te de' lVledici, to wbom tbe unfortunate creature belonged. Bbs pages
