Euphrates first, then down the stream and
striking across by the Sebkha to the
Orontes Valley, thus cutting off Tunip ; or
(2) Tunip may have been in Aziru's hands,
in real alliance with the Khatti, though he
professes to fear them ; or (3) Nukhashi
must be placed as far north as Tunip. Of
these the first seems the probable truth.
