Her dress is composed of a large hat, decked with feathers ; a
blue silk robe, braided with gold lace; a muslin kerchief,
striped with gold ; and a rich lace frill and ruffles. The left
hand is raising the skirt of the robe ; and the right is extended
to caress a monkey, carried by the Queen’s dwarf, Jeffrey
Hudson.
