FREDK. HOLLYER'S Reproductions of the Works
of G. F. WATTS, R.A., were submitted to the
artist and received his approval before being issued for
publication, thus giving them the unique distinction of
having been considered by the painter as faithful
translations of his work.
The series includes some 250 photographs of portraits
and pictures in both public and private collections and
some interesting examples of several of the paintings in
