where his work has been reproduced on
several occasions. Besides buildings he
also designs furniture and has devoted
much time and thought to interior
decoration with considerable success.
Two years ago he published an im-
portant work entitled “ Houses and
Gardens,” which formed practically a
resume of his experience in the planning,
decoration and equipment of houses of
all dimensions, from small week-end
cottages to large country-houses, both
in England and abroad.
