His most recent important works include a memorial
window for St. Bartholomew’s Church, Rosario de Santa
Fe, Argentine Republic; six windows for the Unitarian
Church, Pendleton ; an oak reredos and decorative panels
for Woodbine Street, Salford ; and designs for a private
residence in New York. An article on his work was pub-
lished in the December number of The Studio, 1904, and
some of his designs have appeared in all the previous
issues of The Studio Year Book.

VIGERS, Allan F., i Earl's Terrace, Kensington,
London.
Mr. Allan Vigers is one of the best known wallpaper
designers in England. He has also turned his attention to
the decoration of books, and several examples of his work
in this direction were shown at the last exhibition of the
Arts and Crafts Society, held at the Grafton Galleries,
London. His “Chancellor” wallpaper reproduced on page
75 has been carried out by Messrs. Jeffrey & Co. . Four
other wallpapers designed by him for the same firm
appeared in The Studio Year Book, 1906.
VIGERS, Frederick, 20 Baker Street, London.
Mr. Frederick Vigers is a designer of wallpapers, hang-
ings, tapestries, embroideries and furniture, and has also
executed several illuminations. A wallpaper designed by
him, which formed one of Messrs. Jeffrey’s chief exhibits
at the Franco-British Exhibition held in London last
year, was awarded the Grand Prix. He was also repre-
sented by a metal and silk damask exhibited by Messrs.
Warner and Sons. The Studio Year Book for 1908 con-
tained a chair seat and panel in worsted tent stitch em-
broidery and a tapestry designed by him.

glass. His recent important works
include a panel for a cathedral in
South Africa, a memorial window
for St. Clement’s Mission Chapel,
Notting Hill, and two heraldic
panels for Mr. Noel Buxton.
