PEYFUSS, Fraulein Marietta, Land-
strasse 20, Vienna III.
Fraulein Peyfuss is one of the most prominent
lady artists in decoration and design in Vienna.
She studied under Professor Moser, and later
gained many awards in competitions. She
devotes herself chiefly to designing table-
linen, bed-linen and embroidery, and has

designed and executed several bookbindings
and other leather-work. She is a member of
the Art Society known as the “ Kunst im
Hause,” founded a few years ago by some of
the students of the Imperial Arts and Crafts
School, and has exhibited at Diisseldorf, Ber-
lin, St. Louis (where she was awarded a medal),
and in the “ Secession ” and “ Kunstschau ” at
Vienna.
