STARK, Fraulein Adele von, The
Imperial Arts and Crafts School, Vienna.
Fraulein von Stark is a teacher of enamel-
ling at the Imperial Arts and Crafts School
at Vienna, where she has the high distinction
of being the only lady on the staff. She
exhibited at the “ Kunstschau ” last year, and
also in several German cities with notable
success. She studied in Vienna and Paris,
receiving a bursary for this purpose from the
Ministry of Fine Arts. The four articles illus-
trated on page 160 are admirable examples
of her craftsmanship.

Street, St. Paul's Square, Birming-
ham.
Mr. Stubbs designs metal-work for
Messrs. Jesson, Birkett and Com-
pany of Birmingham. A brass pen-
dant and a porcelain bowl with
copper mount, designed by him, are
illustrated on this page. His work
has appeared in previous volumes
of Tiie Studio Year Book.

sporting cup, illustrated on page 160, has an
