Miss Thomson designs and executes
metal-work and enamels, and a rose
bowl in beaten silver by her is repro-
duced on this page. Amongst her re-
cent important works are a copper-
gilt casket, enriched with enamels
and white amethysts, exhibited at
the Glasgow Institute of the Fine
Arts ; a silver and enamel box and
pendant, shown at the Edinburgh
Exhibition, 1908; and a vase in cast
and hammered brass for Trinity
Church, Pollokshields. An exhi-
bition of her work was recently held
in Glasgow.

Ladywood, Birmingham.
Mr. West is a designer of and craftsman in
metal-work and plastic modelling. He is
represented here by a design for a copper tea-
kettle and stand reproduced on this page.

WOOLRICH, Miss E. G., 5 Blooms-
bury Square, London.
Miss Woolrich designs and executes book-
bindings and illuminations. She has exhibited
in England and on the Continent, and was
awarded a gold medal at the Franco-British
Exhibition held in London last year. The
binding by her, illustrated on this page, is the
property of His Majesty King Edward.
