found during peat digging 1947 in
Matr.No. la in Aalestrup, Hvam Parish,
Rinds District, Viborg County, North Jut-
land, Denmark. The presumed preservatives
varnish and oil were removed prior to dating.
The item is 91 cm long and 8.5 cm broad. Its
one blade is 59 cm the other 32 cm. Sample C
