Im Jahre 1954 baute Le Corbusier in La Plata
(Argentinien) ein viergeschossiges Wohn-
haus mit Arztpraxis. Der ursprüngliche Plan
zeigte folgende Grundrisse, (6.1) bis (6. 4),
für die einzelnen Stockwerke.

In 1954, Le Corbusier built a four-storey
house for a doctor, containing private and
Professional accomodation, in La Plata
(Argentina). The original ground plans of
the various storeys were as follows (6.1)
to (6.4).

Nach Fertigstellung des Baus stellte sich
heraus, daß die getroffene Anordnung der
Räume unzweckmäßig war; das Haus mußte
daraufhin umgebaut werden. Hätte man sich
die Zirkulationsverhältnisse vorher sinnvoll
veranschaulicht, wäre der Umbau leicht zu
vermeiden gewesen.
Die einzelnen Räume sind numeriert:
1. Haupteingang;
2. Garagentür;
3. Garage;
4. Halle;
5. Waschküche;
6. Heizungsraum;

After the building had been completed, it
became clear that the original decisions on
the arrangement of the various rooms were
not correct: as a result the house had to
be altered. This reconstruction could have
easily been avoided, had the circulation
scheme been clearly investigated at the
beginning.
The various rooms are numbered:
1. main entrance;
2. garage door;
3. garage;
4. open space;
5. wash house;
6. heating;

En 1954, Le Corbusier contruisit ä La Plata
(Argentine) un immeuble d’habitation ä
quatre etages avec un cabinet medical. Le
plan original presentait pour les differents
etages les traces suivants (6.1) ä (6.4).

Une fois la construction achevee, on
s’aperqut que la distribution des locaux
choisie n’etait pas rationnelle. II fallut trans-
former la maison. Si l'on avait commence
parse representer clairement les conditions
de circulation, on aurait pu eviter sans
peine une reconstruction.
Les differents locaux sont numerotes:
1. entree principale;
2. porte de garage;
3. garage;
4. halle;
5. buanderie;
6. chaufferie;
