Sur le plateau supporté par six griffes se dresse le pied ou
support de la théière, lequel est contourné, ajouré et semé de
fleurettes, jetées là négligemment, pour ainsi dire. La forme
ronde du vase se fait oublier par la multiplicité des fleurs
peintes qu'elle montre, et par la richesse du goulot. L'anse n'est
pas non plus dénuée de mérite, et complète finement cette
œuvre de haut goût.

On a tray supported by six claws rises the stand or support
of the tea-kettle; tliis stand is of a ratlier complicated out-
line, pierced with open work and covered with flowers ncali-
gently scattered hère and theré. The round form of the kettle
is quite overlooked owing to the profusion of flowers it présents
and to the richly ornamented spout. The handle is by no means
devoid of merit and worthily complètes this most tasteful work.
