The third act completing the ideological program of the reverses is written on a scroll held
by David, who appears in the lower part of the left panel: Dixit Dominus Domino meo sede
a dextris meis. It is the first verse of the Psalm 101, which was considered as the words of God
the Father to Christ, referring to the two natures of Christ as well as calling Saviour to the glo-
rious return to Heaven after hardship of accomplished Redemption.63 By His sacrifice Christ
entered into the heavenly sanctuary, the house of God, and there He performs the liturgy of
the New Dispensation.64 These concepts of the Christological doctrine of fundamental dogmatic
importance found their reflection in art in the image of God the Father, Who is standing or
