i. Ring. Gold and carnelian. Diameter % inch. Stone y2xy8 inch. From Idalium.
Similar to the two following. Erect female figure, winged; with Greek helmet; long flow-
ing garment, trailing behind.
2. Ring. Gold and carbuncle. Diameter i inch. Stone l/2x13/32 inch. From Golgos.
Plain, round tapering band; enlarged near chaton; oval, flat setting. Stone oval; engraved
with erect female figure; one hand raised in adoration, other holds a wand. See Cesnola, Cyprus,
pages 390: 5 and 7; 391: 27.
3. Ring. Gold and garnet. Diameter 2%2 inch. Stone %6xYi6 inch.
Band plain and tapering; chaton oval, with flat setting. Stone covex, with erect female
figure, winged; left hand at face. Flowing garment to feet with chiton above. See Cesnola,
Cyprus, page 391: 27, and 390: 5 and 7.
4. Ring. Gold plate and carnelian. Diameter 1 inch. Stone y^xVie inch.
Ring similar to No. 6, but not as massive. Engraved with erect female figure, with
an indistinct object (rod?) in left hand; right hand extended. See Cesnola, Cyprus, page

5. Ring, Seal. Gold and sard. Diameter 13/ig inch. Stone y2 inch in diameter.
The setting is modern; hammered out of a Napoleon by a native workman. Round stone
is engraved with a face wearing a heavy bushy beard. Cypriote characters about same; for trans-

6. Ring, Seal. Gold plating; carnelian. Diameter 1 inch. Stone y%xl/z inch.
Gold band, plain inside and curved outside. Filled with a white friable material. Thick-
ened to form setting. Seal shows female profile with crest above and coil of hair behind head.
