whole a good copy.

Complete & rare Atlas containing maps of all the countries of Europe
and Asia, and a world-map with nice cartouches. America is represented on
Plate II (California being drawn as an island). Further there are to he found
maps of France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Scandinavia, Poland, Russia, India,
Persia, the Holy Land, Greece, Malta, the Netherlands, etc., all carefully colour-
ed by hand. Some maps are engr. byJansson, a few by I. Lhuilier and
1 by Mercator (Prussia).
The lower left corner of the first plate is sl. damaged and made up. The
title and the first 11. are somewhat waterstained, on some pages the colour
has soaked through. Traces of use, but a good copy.
