DR R. M. LOHIA IN
KALIMPONG

0 Kalimpong Nov. 13.

Dr. Ram Mauohar Lohia,
Socialist leader paid a short
visit to this piece.

In an exclusive interview
Dr. Lohia, expressed his deep
conoern over the border situa-
tion and said : "in the long
run the present dispute bet-
ween India and China is not
at all a narrow frontier prob-
lem hut a problem of com-
parative strength of the two
oountries. If India choosos to
remain economically, ideologi-
cally and socially weak &9 in
the past, 12 years she is
extending a permanent invita-
tion to the Chinese to come
in as liberators.

It makes nonsense to talk
of frontier adjustments between
India and China, adjustment
will come only when India is
strong, for until then Chines©
urge for liberating the -Indian
masses and her greed for
India's territory will coincide."
