TENDER NOTICE

Sealed Tenders are
invited on behalf of the
Governor of West Bengal,
superscribed "tender for
Dhuia repairs timbers" •
for sawing and carriages
of timber n the following
conditions and spec fica-
tious : —

Sawing of timber per
oft. from Departmental
Forest of Rongo and
delivery of same at Rongo
Dalgaon and Gairibas
godonns. The rate for,
various sizes of battons
beam and planks of (i",
J", 1", & L|"f) should
be quoted specifically.
Felling and logging will .
have to be done by the
tenderer.

No departmental tools
whatever will be issued
for such works.

Only marked trees
are to be sawn, if any
unmarked trees are felled
fine will be imposed or
such aotion may even
lead to cancellation of
tenders with forfeiture of
security money. The re-
lations eto will have to
be handed over to the
depirtt. if sawn within
the plantation. In case
of outside sawing the
allowances of rejection as
pur forest departt. rules
may be allowed.

The sucuesslul tenderer
engaging any vehicle to
transport timber must
hare valid registered num.

along with the blue books
must also be submitted
in such casus.

Euch tender must
accompany with an ear-
nest money of Rs. 50/-
and the successful ten-
derers will have to depo-
sit security money of Rs.
500/ under the Head
' Revenue Deposit" and the
challan for the same in
original submitted to the
offioe before commence-
ment ofj^works, within
Beven days from the date
of opening of tenders.

Rates for supply of
timber per eft. from out-
side sources stating spe-
cies of timber may also
be quoted and in such
cases the mill sites must
be mentioned.

Acceptance of any
tender is not obligatory
and the undersigned re-
serves the right of rejec-
tion of one or all tenders
without assigning any
reason.

The suooessfal ten-
derers must enter into
agreement as per tender
rules before oommenoe-
ment of works. The ten.
ders should reach tha
undersigned on or before
12-3 1962 and the same
will be opened on 13-3-
1962 at 10 a. m. before
tenderers present.
