1. Sealed TENDERS
are invited from—

(i) Registered Con-
tractors class 1 of tins
Municipality.

.(ii) Registered Con-
tractors Class II & III
combined of the Munici-
pality to make up the
limit.

(iii) Registered Con-
tractors Class III com-
bined to make up the
limit.

(iv) and also from
the reliable and bouafida
outside contractors com-
bined with any one of
the Municipality registered
contractors in Class 11 &
III for the IMPROVEMENTS
OF BONO KOAD PART II
at an estimated cost of
Rs. 27,785 in the besto-
wal of the Kalimpong.
Municipality before 1 p.m.
of the 25th May, 1»G2.

2. Rates should be
quoted above, below or
at per the iSohedule of
Rates 1960-ttl of P.W.D.
Department adopted by
this Municipality.

3. Registered contrac-
tors who are not eligible
but have combined with
outside reliable and bona,
fide contractors should
submit neoessary creden-
tials of outside bonufide
contractors and deposit
difference in earnest mo-
ney @ o% of the estimate

which will be adjusted as
security deposit in cane of
succesful tenderer and will
be refunded in case of
others.

4. Earnest money will
have . to be deposited by
24-51W2 upto 2 p. m.
and tender forms should
also be obtained from
office by this said date
on payment of Rs. 3/-
p*r form.

6. The Chairman re-
serves the right of rejec-
ting all or any of the
tenders. The lowest ten-
der will not neoessarily
be accepted.

JAPANESE TEAM CLIMB
JUGAL HIMAL
Kathtnandu, May 16
The Japanese have
climbed the 23,240 feet
Jugal . Himal peak, the
Nepal Foreign Office an-
nounced bere today.

Seven members of the
eight-man all Japan Hi-
malayan expedition team,
except the leader. Akirs
Takahashi, climbed the
peak in three separate
assults. The first parly
of two members reached
the peak at 2-3 p m. on
May 3 uft'er leaving Camp
VII at 6 a. m. Oii. May
5, two other members
reached the peak at Sl-30
a. m. followed by three
other members at 11-30
a. m. the same day The
leader remained at. Camp
VI. This was the third
Japanese attempt on the
peak in three successive
years.

Meanwhile, the Ne-
palese Government bas
granted permission to the
Japanese team, which
climb* d the Hongde peak
in Mukut Himal on May
8, to climb a new peak
known as Cbureq Himul.
The peak wbioh is slightly
west of Dheulagiri, has
not yet been fully ex-
plored.
