Ce petit pavillon pourroit être d'une composition
plus heureuse; le plan est peu étudié, le décors in-
térieur manque de goût; mais, ce qui choque le
plus, c'est le peu d'accord dans le style des deux
i'açades ; celle d'entrée, surtout, n'a point le carac-
tère propre : on désireroit dans l'ensemble plus de
légèreté et de grâce convenables à la destination d'un
pareil édifice.

Plan, élévation extérieure, coupe et détails de
décors intérieurs d'un petit kiosque turc servant
de cabinet de lecture, consiruit en bois et briques
et tendu intérieurement en étoffe brodée.
Ce petit édifice est d'une vérité parfaite de style;
son décors intérieur paroit très-soigné : la corniche
particulièrement doit produire un fort bon effet.

d'une chaumière d'un style rustique à l'extérieur
et de genre françois en dedans : ladite servant de

This little pavilion might have been of a happier
design, the plan is but little studied, the interior de-
corations are void of taste, but what most offends the
eye is the little harmony in the style of the fore and
back fronts; the fore front in particular is not of a
suitable characteristic ; it were to be wished that
throughout the whole there were more lightness and
grace, suitable to the purpose of such a building.

The style of this little building is perfectely true,
its interior decorations seem executed with the greatest
care; the cornice in particular is calculated to produce
an admirable effect.
