Ce petit édifice est établi sur un plan octogone ;
son soubassement en pierres de taille, formant
caisson, est planté de fleurs et surmonté par huit
colonnes couronnées par des aigles supportant la
couverture; les guirlandes suspendues entre les co-
lonnes sont soutenues par ces aigles.

Plan et élévation d'une chaumière exécutée dans
le même parc, par le même artiste.
Cette chaumière est établie près du théâtre Vert;
elle sert à la décoration des pièces que l'on joue
sur ce théâtre. La construction du rez-de-chaussée
est en briques et bois brut ; le premier étage est re-
vêtu d'un crépi de couleur. L'escalier que l'on voit
de côté est de bois en grume et très-bien ajusté. Il
est à l'usage des comédiens. Tout est parfaitement
en harmonie dans ce petit bâtiment.

couvent de Masmunster, en Alsace. Le plan n.° i
est composé d'une serre froide et chaude : la serre
froide A est au nord, la serre chaude B est au midi,
et les deux cabinets servant, un pour la bibliothèque,
l'autre pour le dépôt des plantes des fleurs et des
graines ; n.° 2, coupe en travers où l'on voit la dis-
position des poêles qui chauffent les deux serres j
n.° 3, façade du côté du midi.
Cet édifice a été exécuté sur les dessins du jar-
dinier attaché au couvent. Sa construction en pier-
res et briques, est élevé sur un soubassement à
l'effet d'empêcher l'humidité, défaut qui règne
presque toujours dans les serres établies au niveau

supporting the roof. The garlands suspended between
the columns, are upheld by the eagles.

Plan and height of a cottage in the same park,
by the same artist.
This cottage is built near the green theatre it serves
for the scenery of the plays acted upon that that theatre :
The ground floor is of brick,and wood in the rough;
the walls of the first floor are overlaid with coloured
rough cast. The staircase, which is seen side-wise,
is of wood with its bark on, and very well wrought.
It is for the use of the actors. Every thing is in perfect
harmony throughout this little building.

Flan, coping and height of the greenhouse of the con-
vent of Masmunstre, in Alsace. The plan n.° 1 con-
sists of a cool green house, and of a hot-house (the
cool one A is to the north, the hot house B is to
the South), and of two closets, one for the library,
the other for the depository for plants, flowers und
seedsj n.° 2 coping crosswise, which shows the manner
in which the stoves are disposed for heating the hot
house; n.° 5 south front.
This edifice was built according to the plan drawn
by the gardener of the convent, It is built of stone
and brick, raised upon a base so as to prevent humi-
dity , an inconvenience which prevails in all hot houses
level with the ground, and which prevents the free
circulation of the heat through the tunnels.
Dieses kleine Gebîcude ist auf einem achteckigten Grand
errichtet; die Grundmauer ist von Quadersteinen, sie stellt
eine Kiste vor, worinn Blumen gepflanzt sind und worauf
vier Sseulen ruhen, welche mit Adlern geziert sind die das
Dach tragen. Die Blumenkränze , welche zwischen den Sseulen
hangen, werden von diesen Adlern unterstüzt.

Grundriss und Aufriss einer Strohhütte in dem naehmlichea
Park, von demselben Künstler.
Diese Strohhütte ist ohnweit dem grünen Theater errichtet ;
sie dient als Theaterwand zu den Stücken welche aufgeführt
werden. Das Erdgeschoss ist von Backsteinen und rohem.
Holz erbaut; die Weende das ersten Stocks sind mit farbi-
gem Kalk beworfen. Dis Treppe, welche man auf der Seite
sieht ist von unbehauenem Holz, und sehr wohl angebracht,
sie dient zum Gebrauch für die Schauspieler. Alle Tlieile
dieses Gebacudes stimmen vollkommen mit dem Ganzea
überein.

im Kloster zu Masmünster im Elsass.
Der Grundriss n-° 1 besteht aus Gewaechs-und Treibhaus
(das Gewächshaus fliegt gegen Norden, das Treibhaus B
gegen Mittag) und aus zwey Zimmern, das eine zur Biblio-
thek das andere zur Niederlage der Pflanzen, Blumen und
Saamen bestimmt; n.° 1 Durchschnitte in der Mitte, wo
man die Einrichtung der Ofen sieht welche beyde Gewaechs-
haeuser heitzen ; Aussenseite gegen Mittag.
Dieses Gebaeude ist nach der Zeichnung des Klosterg.crt-
ners, von Holz und Backsteinen erbaut; es ruht auf einer
Grundmauer um die Feuchtigkeit zu vermeiden; ein Fehler
den man beinahe in allen Gewaechshausern die in horizon-
taler Linie mit der Erde gebaut sind, antrifft, weil dadurch
der Umlauf der ^Wserme in den Rochreu verhiadert wird.
