VILLA MEDICIS.

IN this print we present the curious with a view of the magnificent
entrance into Rome.
Beneath the trellis-work in the garden of La Trinita de Monti, a
portion of the capital of the world is visible, viz. the Porto del Populo,
the Obelisk, and the two edifices which adorn the Forum Romanum ; the
Casino of the Villa Medici ; and in the back-ground, on a well-cultivated
mountain, the Villa Mellini.

NOUS offrons aux amateurs dans cette gravure la vue de Feutrée
majestueuse de Rome.
De dessous ces treilles dans le jardin de la Trinité du Mont, on découvre
une partie de cette ancienne capitale du mond, la Porte du Peuple, 1 Obé-
lisque, et les deux edifices qui décorent la Place du Peuple, le Casin de la
Villa Medicis, et dans le lointain sur un mont fertile la Villa Mellini.
