the Late Roman Site of Pereginka (Balakiri) 2

ABSTRACT: The paper presents to the scientific community the first find
of an assemblage of antoniniani in the forest-steppe zonę of Southeast Europę.
The location and composition of the assemblage suggest that it was part of a deposit.
Hoard was discovered in 2009 on the territory of the archaeological site of Late
Roman Period. It consisted of 41 coins, among which earliest coin was antoninian
of Gordian III (AD 238), and eldest - antoninian of Trebonianus Gallus (AD 251).
This complex is very important for understanding the history and chronology
of the Chemyakhiv cultures in the region of Middle Dniester and the upper reaches
of the Southern Bug.

ABSTRAKT: Zespól antoninianów z późnorzymskiego stanowiska
archeologicznego Pereginka (Balakiri) 2
Artykuł jest poświęcony odkryciu pierwszego zwartego zespołu antoninianów
na obszarze leśno-stepowej części Europy Południowo-Wschodniej. Charakter
lokalizacji i stan zachowania monet sugerują, że były one częścią jednego skarbu .
Zespół został odkryty w 2009 roku na terenie stanowiska archeologicznego
z późnego okresu rzymskiego. Składał się z 41 monet, wśród których najstarszą
