Byrska-Fudali i Tomasz Fudali. Badania zlecone były przez prywatnego inwestora
w związku z budową 10 budynków jednorodzinnych.
Wykopaliska odsłoniły dalszą część osady kultury przeworskiej, badanej
w latach 1993 1998 przez Instytut Archeologii UJ. Odkryto obiekty mieszkalne
i gospodarcze, które można wiązać z okresem od fazy A3 młodszego okresu
przedrzymskiego do początku fazy Cl okresu wpływów rzymskich (od 30-10 r.
p.n.e. do 200-230 r. n.e.).
W wypełń i sku półziemianki o nr 304 został odkryty dobrze zachowany
denar Trajana. Pozostały materiał z tego obiektu stanowią wyłącznie naczynia
ceramiczne. Są to formy ręcznie lepione, o mało charakterystycznych formach,
typowych dla faz BI Cl okresu rzymskiego.

In 2014, a Roman coin was found during the rescue excavation works
performed at site 3 in Kryspinów (Liszki Commune, Lesser Poland Voivodeship).
The location of the works is well known in the archaeological literaturę because of
the long-running excavations led by the Institute of Archaeology of the Jagiellonian
University in Kraków. A Celtic gold coin found there is among the best known
artefacts recovered from the area of the settlement.1 The Kryspinów site is located
to the northwest of Kraków, on the Southern fringe of the Krakow-Częstochowa
Upland (in Polish: Wyżyna Krakowsko-Częstochowska). The complex consists
of a burial ground (site 2) and a settlement (site 3) of the Przeworsk culture.
Excavation works at the burial site of Kryspinów were conducted in the years
1968-1994 under the direction of Prof. Kazimierz Godłowski. One hundred and
thirty artefacts dated to the phases Bl-Clb of the Roman period were discovered
in the course of this exploration.2 In the years 1993-1998, works were conducted
in the area of the settlement, at site 3. Three hundred and three artefacts, dated from
phase A2 of the younger pre-Roman period to phase Cla of the Roman period,
were examined.3
In the period from 20 August to 17 September 2014, archaeological works
commissioned by a private investor were carried out at site no. 3 in Kryspinów.
The exploration preceded the construction of ten detached houses on lot nos.
1003/6, 1003/7, 1003/8, 1003/9, 1003/10, 1003/11. The works under consideration
