yellow gown, kneeling to milk a goat; on the farther side of
her is a man, hammering the hoop of a cask ; three ducks and
a flock of sheep complete the grouping in the fore-ground. A
pasticcio, in the rich and brilliant manner of Bassan.

near which are three peasants talking together, and a fourth
