recent productions, a series of five wall paint-
ings are of particular importance. One of
these is reproduced on the opposite page.
CONNOR, C.E.E., 62 West Street^ New-

Mr. Connor is a designer and craftsman who has
interested himself especially in pottery decora-
tion with considerable success. He is Art Direc-
tor of the Day and Evening Schools at New-
castle-under-Lyme, and,besides pottery,designs
and executes furniture and woodcarving.

Mr. Cox is a designer of and worker in interior
and exterior decoration in plaster, cement, lead,
and stone. He has executed many important
commissions for well-known architects, includ-
ing work at Caldy Manor, Cheshire, Conkwell
Grange, Wiltshire, Nether-Swell Manor, and
Solom’s Court, all for Mr. E. Guy Dawber,
F.R.I.B.A.; Tissington Hall, Caius and Gon-
ville College, Cambridge, Barnett Hill, Guild-
ford, and University College School, Hamp-
stead, for Mr. Arnold Mitchell, F.R.I.B.A.
