MOTHERSOLE, Miss Jessie, 141
Willesden Lane, London.
Miss Mothersole designs and executes stained
glass, mosaics, mural decoration, illustrations
in black-and-white and colour. Her recent
work includes the window in All Saints’
Church, Kenley (reproduced on this page), and
sixteen illustrations for an Indian version of
the Pilgrim’s Progress, ■which were exhibited in
London last year. She has also been engaged
on work for Mr. Henry Holiday, executing a
considerable part of a mosaic reredos for
Essex Church, Notting Hill, and of a inural
painting for the East wall of St. Michael's,
Minehead. That she is entirely in sympathy
with Mr. Holiday’s work may be seen by com-
paring the window by him at St.John’s Church,
Windermere (illustrated on page 56), with the
window reproduced on this page.
