the execution. She has recently exhibited an important
series of drawings illustrating Chaucer’s Romciunt of the
Rose in Messrs. Annan’s Gallery at Glasgow. Her fertile
imagination has had full play in a series of illustrations
for fairy tales, which were recently shown in Calcutta
together with some of her landscapes in black-and-white
and water-colours. A nursery tile designed by her was
reproduced in colour in the first issue of The Studio
Year Book, and she was also represented in the volume
for 1907. The silver-backed hair-brush illustrated on
page 143 belongs to a toilet set which she designed for
Messrs. Liberty and Company.
