the Peiligang site is 29 cm long, 26 cm wide,
1.5 cm thick (Fig. 9), another in Jiahu Site is
33.5 cm long, 17 cm wide, 1.5 cm thick
(Fig. 10). The double-arc-bladed spades are
like the soles of shoes, and their double arcs
can all turn up the soil, thus multiplying the
purposes and duration for their use.

One-arc-spades were found, one of them
from Peiligang site. The arc is sharp, the body
is upright, 13 cm in length (Fig. 11). The other
is a shoulder-spade, 15.3 cm long, 8 cm wide.
The shoulder part is 5.5 cm long and 1.2 thick
(Fig. 12). The wooden handles can be fixed on
the shoulder-spades, and the people can work
more efficaciously.
