tecte et «designer» Charles Eames (USA),
a visite la Hochschule für Gestaltung, oü il a
presente certains de sesfilms expärimentaux,
dejä maintes fois primes, aux professeurs
et etudiants de l’ecole.

Professor Dr. Gillo Dorfies (Mailand), Chef-
redakteur der Zeitschrift »aut aut« und Autor
von »Discorso tecnico delle Arti« (1952) und
»Le oscillazioni del gusto« (1958), hielt an
der HfG einen Vortrag über das Thema
»Kommunikation und Kunst«. Ferner führte
er im Rahmen des von Tomas Maldonado
geleiteten Seminars über Semiotik ein
Kolloquium durch.

chief of the Journal ‘aut-aut’ and author of
‘Discorso tecnico delle Arti’ (1952) and
‘Le oscillazioni del gusto’ (1958). gave a
lecture at the HfG on ‘Communication and
Art’. He also participated in a Colloquium
within the Seminar on semiotics held by
Tomäs Maldonado.

cadre du seminaire de semiotique que dirige

Erste repräsentative Jahresversammlung der
Gesellschaft der Freunde der Geschwister-
Scholl-Stiftung. Frau Inge Aicher-Scholl
berichtete über die Tätigkeit der Stiftung und
der Gesellschaft und Tomäs Maldonado, der
Vorsitzende des Rektoratskollegiums, über
die Entwicklung und die jetzige Struktur der
HfG. Es folgten die Besichtigung einer
internen Ausstellung von Arbeiten der
Studierenden und Dozenten, einer Dokumen-
tation von Methoden und Arbeitsergebnissen
der HfG, und schließlich ein Vortrag von
Dr. Karl Korn von der Frankfurter Allgemeinen
Zeitung mit dem Thema »Gedanken zur
kulturellen Situation«. Die Ausstellung soll
im nächsten Jahr in erweiterter Form zuerst
im Landesgewerbeamt Stuttgart, später auch
in anderen Großstädten des In- und Aus-
landes der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht
werden.

Faculty Board of the HfG, Tomäs Maldonado,
on the evolution and present structure of the
school; a visit to an exhibition of work of the
students and the faculty documenting the
methods and results of the HfG; and a lecture
by Dr. Karl Korn, editor of the Frankfurter
Allgemeine Zeitung, on ‘Reflections on the
Cultural Situation’. Next year the exhibition
will be enlarged and opened to the public
at the Landesgewerbeamt Stuttgart, and later
shown in other cities in Germany and abroad.

Le Programme etait le suivant: rapport de
Madame Inge Aicher-Scholl, Presidente de
la Fondation, sur les activites de la Societe
et de la Fondation; rapport de M. Tomäs
Maldonado, President du Conseil des
Recteurs, sur l’ävolution et la structure
actuelles de la HfG; visite de l’exposition
des travaux de professeurs et d’etudiants;
Conference de M. Karl Korn, rädacteur en
chef de la «Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung»:
«Reflexions sur la Situation culturelle».
Au cours de l’annee prochaine, l’exposition
sera agrandie et presentee au public, tout
d’abord au «Landesgewerbeamt» de Stutt-
gart, et eventuellement dans d’autres villes
d’Allemagne et de l’etranger.

und Architekt, hielt eine Reihe von Vor-
lesungen. Buckminster Fuller hat neue Bau-
und Konstruktionsmethoden, vor allem auf
dem Gebiet des industrialisierten Bauens,
entwickelt und angewendet.
