Universitätsbibliothek Heidelberg, C 663 Folio RES::2

This engraved portrait derives from that by Rousset, elaboreted and refined by the engraver Frans van Bleyswick and may have been done contextually with the reissue of Petau's catalogs of the Portiuncula and Gnorisma which Albert Henri Sallengre let re-print 1718 and include in the second volume of his Novus thesaurus antiquitatum Romanarum…, col. 1005.

On the lower margin of the plate, in the middle the is the signature by the engraver: F. Bleyswyk. F.

A second edition of Sallengre's Novus Thesaurus was edited in Venice in 1735. Exactly the same portrait was reprinted, as was the whole work, in 1746 in Gisbert Cuper as Pauli Petavii In Francorum Curia Consiliarii Antiquariae Suppellectilis Portiuncula and included in De Elephantis In Nummis Obviis Exercitationes Duae, Den Haag 1746, coll. 1001–1050, col. 1005.
