dont nous extrayons ces deffins de Tables qui font un type de

quant à ces deux pièces les remarques faites p. 45, nous ne
l'aurions méconnaître les brillantes qualités qui donnent ce
cachet de fpirituelle élégance & d'abondante facilité à toute

The two Cuvilliés complète work forms a large volume
in-folio, from which we extraét thefedrawings of Tables to be
confidered as an extravagant model of what the rock-work
flyle has produced of molt flowery. Though our remarks (p.
45) are appliable to thefe pièces we cannot deny the brilliant
qualifies which give a ftamp of elegant diftinction and abun-
dant facility to every Frenchwork of art during this period.
