name „e. criber“ or „criber“, four times used on eadi plate. This name is not
mentioned still now in the book-binding literature and here mentioned for the
first time. The preservation of the binding is rather good a few places are
slightly rubbed, but most of the stamps appear very fresh. Seymour de Ricci
mentiones in its Census only 2 other copies in an original binding.
Recapitulating the above short description of this pre-
cious book we must say that our copy is in a unique, excellent
state of preservation, larger than all the other copies known,
and bound in an old original binding of the highest interest.
This book may be the MOST SPLENDID PIECE of any library.
