NUMEROUS RESTRICTIONS
ON INDIAN TRADERS

Mri. Me'non replying
to Mr. M. L. Dwivedi
and several others on the
question of Indo-1 ibetan
trade said in a written
reply in the Lok Sabha
on Thursday that there
were no signs of any
helpful ohange in Chinese
policies in regard to India.
She said Nepalese traders
were receiving preferential
treatment from the Chi-
nese authorities as against
India traders. 1 he Chinese
authorities in Tibet had
plaoed numerous restric-
tions on India traders.

oranges were oarried on the
Northern Frontier Rail
way as against 230,000
baskets for the corres-
ponding period last year.
This was an all-time re-
