An unfinished base modelled with a tool. On it is represented a
thunderbolt, and above a tablet with an inscription.

118. CARYATID (pi. 120).
H. -233 m.
She rises from a base of acanthus leaves. She wears a red
with long and a pink r/V/072: also large earrings, a necklace,
and a on the head. Curls descend on to her shoulders. The
colours (probably shades of red) were painted over a white slip, which
is now exposed in most places as the paint has worn off. Much rubbed.
Found in 1878 in a drain near the Tabularium.
