Drawing should suggest and stimulate
observation.

This text can only touch upon so large
a subject.

The aim of drawing is to express an
idea, or a feeling.

The technique is the means of expres-
sion, but the means is necessary.

The only way to learn to draw is to
observe, think and draw.

There is no other key, but a few essen-
tial rules can aid in directing the observa-
tion and avoiding errors.
