The Guide to Rome which we present to the
traveller, is divided into eight days. Following the
itinerary indicated, the principal objects in the city
may be visited in a short time.
For the convenience of those who do not wish
to observe that arrangement, we have placed at the
end an alphabetical index to render it easier to find
the required information.

The Editor declares that he has fulfilled all
the rules required by the existing laws upon
literary property, under the protection of which
he places the present edition and the right of
translation.
