Mausoleum of Augustus (Palazzo Corea, Via
di Ripetta no. 57, contains some ruins). Of this great
monument raised by Augustus there only remains a
part of the embasement (stripped however of the mar-
ble with which it was covered), and the traces of 13
sepulchral rooms, not including that which gave en-
trance to the great rotunda. It is now built over,
and has been used as a circus,
Church of S. Rocco, very fashionable, near
the Mausoleum has three aisles, and several chapels,
the latter decorated with paintings. In the second
chapel on the right, is an altar picture by Baciccio,
and in the Del Medico chapel is a « St. Antony of
