Representation of the Seven Real Situations, with

their Variations.

jL HE following Representations are for the purpose of
exhibiting the various Appearances of each Situation.

These Appearances vary in nature as the eye of the
observer changes its place on the Real Perspective Plane
(though the Situation continues the same), and determine
the Positions on the Artificial Perspective Plane, according
to the foregoing Rules.

Each Representation, by being put up, or down, as
directed, will acquire its Real Situation to present the
change.

The page and the observer should be parallel.

The word (Eye) appoints the place of the observer's
eye for each Variation ; from which place the corresponding
Position is produced, as given on the opposite page, copied
from the Appearance; or in other words, the apparent
direction of the Situation when the eye is in this place.

A description of the change is added by the side of
each Position.
