Oettingen im Ries in 1516, translated and interpreted the classics and studied
mathematics and astrology ; a pupil of Melanchthon, Luther a.s.o. he lived in Nürnberg.
Mühlhausen i. Th., Tübingen, Strassburg, Basel and Paris; later he became a
secretary and' librarian of Fuggers in Augsburg and died in 1580.
