As usual (cf. Philips and Tiele) this atlas with the well-known engraved title-leaf
showing ‘Atlas’ contents maps by various cartographers, including: H o m a n n,
Seutter, Schenck, Visscher, de Witt, De 1’Isle, Covens & Mor-
tier, Valek, etc. Most of the maps relate toi Europe, but there are several
w o r 1 d-m a p s and other maps and broadsides relating to
America. Includes views and plans, inter alia of London, Stockholm,
Danzig, Amsterdam (a very fine one of Windsor Castle) and several
astronomical maps. — An interesting and valuable collection in
good condition.
